Xiaomi to launch three new foldable phones in 2021. Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), shared the alleged development via Twitter.
Xiaomi is yet to set its foot on the foldable smartphone segment and that’s changing in 2021.
Earlier this month, the companies like OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi will together launch four foldable phones in 2021 and also claimed that Google will also launch a foldable phone in the coming year.
Now the latest tweet by Young revealed about Xiaomi’s new foldable phones in 2021 . It is expected that company could be launched in three design types.
We have seen Samsung using both the in-folding and clamshell foldable phone design, so we are excited to see how Xiaomi improves the design compared to existing Samsung foldable phones.
The company does not mention about the models that is going to launch first. Young added that the out-folding foldable phone from Xiaomi will be like the Huawei Mate X.
It rumored that the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon chipset and a 108-megapixel camera. Other details of the “Cetus” device is currently under wraps
