Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is tipped to debut with an under-display camera that will be hidden under the screen and completely invisible to the naked eye when not in operation.

The Mi Mix 4 is also tipped to feature a secondary display at the back. This could be similar to what we had seen on the Mi 11 Ultra.

A tipster Ice Universe has reported on Twitter about the plans to deploy the completely invisible under-display camera on the Mi Mix 4. The tipster said that traces of the under panel camera will not be visible to the naked eye.

The Mi MIX 4 will flaunt an edge-to-edge notch-less screen with slim bezels, curved edges, and an under-display camera. On the rear, there might be a triple camera unit.

The Smartphone is rumored to bear a 6.4-inch custom-made AMOLED display that may provide a Full-HD+ or higher resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Mi MIX 4 is likely to sport a triple rear camera module comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telephoto snapper with 120x hybrid and 5x optical zoom support. For selfies, It is expected to have a 32MP under-display camera.

The phone is expected to support UWB, feature a Snapdragon 888 chipset and a 4,500 mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging.

The device should offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G, and a Type-C port for connectivity.

On Twitter, another tipster, HoiINDI, has posted some renders of the Mi Mix 4 that suggest a dedicated display at the back of the smartphone. The display appears to be placed next to the rear camera setup.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 4: Pricing and availability

The official pricing and availability details of the Mi MIX 4 will not be announced yet, but the handset is rumored to take place in August this year. However, it is tipped to cost upwards of CNY 6,000 (roughly Rs. 70,000).
