HP has updated its Chromebook x360 14c with 11th-generation Intel Core processors. The HP Chromebook sports a 14-inch full-HD LED display with multitouch support and comes with a screen resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels.
The new laptop continues to offer a convertible form factor that featured on previous Chromebook x360 versions.
The HP Chromebook range will sport an ultra-thin design and promise to offer long battery life.
The Chrome OS-based laptop is another affordable offering by the company, which is specified for students so that they can conveniently study from home.
Commenting on the launch, Vickram Bedi, Senior Director, Personal Systems, HP India Market said, “With the rapidly evolving education landscape in the country, it is imperative that we arm students and educators with the right tools and technology for remote and hybrid learning environments”.
HP Chromebook x360 14c: Specifications
The laptop is powered by an 11th-gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor clocked at 4.1GHz.
The device comes with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, also includes a fingerprint reader and a backlit keyboard.
HP Chromebook x360 14c sports a 14-inch full HD LED display with multitouch support and Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.
The Product gets an inbuilt webcam and dual speakers for east video calls.
On the connectivity front, the laptop features a USB Type-C port, USB Type-A port, an audio jack, and a memory card slot.
The device measures 321.56×205.74×17.78mm and weighs 1.66kg.
The new laptop is packed with a 3-cell 58Wh lithium-ion polymer battery cell and is paired with a 45 W charging over USB Type-C.
The device features two speakers tuned by Bang & Olufsen.
The Chromebook has a touchpad with multitouch gesture support.
HP Chromebook x360 14c: Price
The HP Chromebook x360 14c is priced at $649.99 (roughly Rs. 48,600). It is expected that it will go on sale in the US on Best Buy and HP.com this April.
The company has not announced the international availability details of the updated Chromebook.
